Privacy Policy
Pantry is a recipe manager built for people who cook. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled. We keep it short because we don’t do much with your data.
1. Who We Are
Pantry is developed and operated by Bread Labs LLC. You can reach us at support@bread-labs.com.
2. What We Collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. This is stored by Supabase, our authentication provider, on secure servers. We do not store plaintext passwords.
Recipe content. The recipes you import and save are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers.
Import content. When you import a recipe by URL or pasted text, that content is sent to a third-party AI service to help process it into your saved recipe. We do not store this content on our servers after processing is complete. This is governed by Anthropic’s privacy policy.
Print order information. If you place a print order through the app, your name, shipping address, and payment details are collected by Lulu Direct (fulfillment) and Stripe (payment processing) to complete your order. We receive confirmation that an order was placed but do not store your payment card details. Lulu Direct’s privacy policy is available at lulu.com. Stripe’s is at stripe.com.
Subscription information. If you subscribe to Pantry Pro, your subscription is managed by RevenueCat and billed through Apple or Google. We receive your subscription status but not your payment details. RevenueCat’s privacy policy is at revenuecat.com.
3. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not run advertising or sell your data to third parties.
- We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
- We do not collect your location.
- We do not use analytics SDKs that profile your behavior.
4. How We Use Your Data
Your email address is used to:
- Authenticate you when you sign in
- Send a password reset link if you request one
- Contact you about your account if necessary
We do not send marketing emails.
5. Data Retention
Your account and associated data are retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account by contacting us at support@bread-labs.com, after which your email address and account record will be removed from our authentication provider within 30 days.
Recipe data stored locally on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data.
6. Children’s Privacy
Pantry is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@bread-labs.com.
8. Security
Authentication is handled by Supabase, which uses industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections and hashed password storage. Recipe data on your device is protected by your device’s own security.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
